Representatives will pre-qualify prospective clients based upon our suitability criteria required to open a new account, and then assist prospective clients with the account opening process.

Our Client Services department is seeking team players with positive attitudes and good problem solving skills to provide clients with technical support and client services through service excellence; to support clients with downloading our products, setting up their account, billing issues, user education, and troubleshooting technical issues.  The incumbent will handle technical support calls to assist clients with timely and accurate answers to their questions, assist with daily technical support emails and use problem-solving skills to quickly resolve client’s inquiries.  Ideal candidates will be computer savvy, will have excellent skills in technical troubleshooting,  good problem solving skills, have a customer-focused attitude, extreme attention to detail, superior communication skills both by phone and email and possess a strong technical aptitude, including experience with email, the Internet, and Microsoft Office products.  A four-year college degree or technical certification preferred or a minimum of one year of relevant experience and/or training in a professional service environment, combined with a high level of patience and the ability to work in a structured and fast-paced environment.  May have to travel for business continuity.

Manager of New Accounts – Plantation, FL
TradeStation Securities, Inc is seeking a Manager for the New Accounts Department. The incumbent will provide supervision of department personnel and daily workflow. The New Accounts Manager works closely with Department Heads from Operations, Sales, Compliance and Client Services.

The Manager will ensure client data is accurately captured and transmitted to Custodian. Scheduling staff assignments and ensuring timely completion of all daily processing, reviewing account changes, approving retirement contributions/distributions, creating procedure documentation, setting performance goals, coaching and motivating staff and performing semi-annual employee performance evaluations.

The ideal candidate must be familiar with different brokerage account types, including retirement plans; must be detail and deadline oriented; must have knowledge of overall tax reporting obligations, excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills; must have demonstrated Supervisory Skills and be able to travel. Bachelor’s degree required. Three plus years of Managerial experience within a brokerage operation and Series 3, 7, 24, 30, and 63 licenses are required. Multimedia Author/Developer – Plantation, FL
Our Client Training and Education Department is seeking a Multimedia Author/Developer who will be responsible for planning, scripting, programming and editing effective computer/web based training (CBT/WBT) lessons for cutting edge financial analysis tools and services using a variety of industry standard authoring tools. The incumbent will coordinate with subject matter experts, Engineers, Graphic Designers and Product Managers to determine the scope of the project and to obtain relevant technical material/specifications for courseware.

The incumbent must have strong technical writing and organizational skills and have a team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with educational oriented projects and developing interactive training courseware using multimedia authoring tools.

This position requires a B.A. in Technical Writing, English or Education, B.S. in Computer Science or a related field. The candidate must have a background in writing and programming interactive multimedia for Windows applications and be experienced with multimedia tutoring tools (such as Flash, Camtasia, etc.) for creating web based learning content. Experience and knowledge of financial markets, trading industry and/or technical analysis is a tremendous plus.

EasyLanguage Engineer – Richardson, TX
Our Richardson, Texas branch office is seeking a qualified, creative EasyLanguage Engineer to help design and develop technical analysis studies and trading tools using our proprietary development language called EasyLanguage®.  Support our large and growing online community at the TradeStation Securities support web site via the EasyLanguage discussion forums and wiki.  Provide technical assistance to active and institutional traders to translate their trading ideas and approaches into customized studies and automated trading strategies in EasyLanguage.  Help advanced users and third-party developers extend the capabilities of EasyLanguage via C++ DLL’s, including algorithmic trading solutions.  Develop EasyLanguage studies and other tools for inclusion as built-ins with the TradeStation software.  Assist in the education and training of new EasyLanguage users.

REQUIRMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. Solid experience in technical analysis and EasyLanguage. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Series 3, 7 and 63 licenses (or such licenses must be obtained within 90 days). Willingness to relocate to the Dallas metropolitan area.

PREFERRED:

Web Designer – Plantation, FL
TradeStation Securities has an excellent opportunity for a Web Designer whose responsibilities will include the design and construction of company web pages/sites including incorporating graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques. Required to maintain and provide ongoing design of the website content and structure, while meeting requirements provided by management.

Our Client Training and Education Department is seeking a Training Specialist who will be responsible for delivery of live training courses, online seminars and training course development for clients and employees.

The incumbent must have knowledge of the financial markets with the ability to acquire a number of industry licenses and certifications. Knowledge of financial analysis software and concepts, particularly technical analysis, is an advantage. The position also requires public speaking skills, most notably in delivering live training to large groups.

Applications Systems Analysts II (2) – Plantation, FL
Our IT Department is seeking dynamic, team oriented individuals to fill the positions of Systems Analyst II. The analysts will support, modify, analyze, and develop programming systems including Web and SQL applications, consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. The incumbents may be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections.

Main Duties:
Develop new and modify existing ASP.NET web sites. Develop and modify existing SQL queries and procedures. Provide ideas to improve and optimize current systems (code and logic). Optimize SQL and .NET code for peak performance. Review, assess and approve project development completed by other team members.

Requirements:
The successful candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of working experience as a MSSQL Server and .Net Application developer. Must be able to meet with users and understand requirements in order to provide a quality product, must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming, MCSA, MCSE, MCDBA, and/or MCSD certification preferred. VB.Net, Classic ASP, Crystal Report, Onyx, Great Plains and Cold Fusion a plus.

Network and System Administrator I – Plantation, FL
Our IT Department is seeking a dynamic, team oriented individual for the position of Network and System Administrator. This individual will primarily be responsible (at varying degrees) for the design, analysis, performance, administration and/or control of data network infrastructures on a central and remote basis. The incumbent will plan, organize and direct multiple or large concurrent projects involving all phases of work, including providing technical and functional deliverables to meet established service delivery standards and customer/user needs.

Data Center Operator – Richardson, TX
TradeStation Technologies is seeking a Data Center Operator to perform daily operations in our data center in Richardson, TX. The incumbent will be responsible for all operations activities during his/her shift and for software and hardware upgrades at the data centers. He or she will also be responsible for the functionality and monitor all applications following established policies and procedures.

Main Duties:

  • Ensure all established procedures related to operations at the Data Center are followed.
  • Interact with vendors to guarantee functionality of all parts of the Data Center.

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Web Engineer to join our team to design, implement and maintain web based applications.  Ideal candidate will have 4 years of professional experience developing web sites and web applications using Microsoft Technologies. We have an opening in our Software Testing and Quality Assurance Department for an experienced client application Windows based software tester.  Duties include testing of complex Windows based trading platform applications for accuracy, performance and stability, test plan creation and execution, documentation and tracking of program defects and programming in our proprietary EasyLanguage.

Position Requirements
The successful candidate must be able to work individually and on team projects, have the ability to multi-task and possess strong communication, organizational and time management skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, a broad based knowledge of Visual Studio C++, Windows programming, and Software Development Life Cycle processes is required. Software Tester – Order Execution – Plantation, FL
Join the Quality Assurance Department in our technologies subsidiary testing our TradeStation Order Execution Network, documenting defects as well as creating and executing test plans of complex trading network backend systems. The incumbent will be responsible for testing key software components that make up the building blocks of our Order Execution network.  Knowledge of the software development life cycle is expected.

Job responsibilities include testing of all code/configuration changes to the TradeStation Order Execution software, database and report components, test plan creation and execution of complex client/server systems. Do defect tracking and post production deployment validation of changes made to a multi-tier client-server environment working closely with Engineering in Richardson, TX and Product Management in Plantation, FL.

The successful candidate must have strong communication skills and be a team player that is assertive and goal-oriented who can also work on repetitive tasks as needed to achieve those goals with limited supervision.  Microsoft SQL Server DBA certification (MCDBA) or equivalent SQL Programming experience or certification is required.  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required. Knowledge of Financial Markets is a plus.

Software Tester – Data Team – Plantation, FL
Join our Quality Assurance department, which tests the TradeStation Data Network Software and Data Integrity components. Work very closely with the engineering department to learn, test, document and report any discrepancies. Your primary focus will be in the realm of software testing of key components that make up the building blocks of our data network. Essential Job Functions: test all code changes to the TradeStation Network Software components; test changes made to a multi-tier client-server environment working with Engineering in Richardson, TX and Plantation, FL; and test other areas that may affect the stability of the TradeStation network software and/or integrity of data.

The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related science degree with experience in client/server/SQL based systems. Knowledge of Visual Studio C++ is strongly preferred and software testing experience is definitely a plus.  The work as a Data Server Team software tester requires strong communication skills, and a team player that is assertive and goal-oriented, but who can also work on repetitive tasks as needed to achieve those goals without much supervision.

Software Tester – Web Application – Plantation, FL
Our Quality Assurance department seeks detailed-oriented individual to join our Web Testing Team. Eligible candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment with our Engineering, Marketing and IT departments to maintain and enhance our continuously evolving web sites. The incumbent will be responsible for daily maintenance and updates of company web sites as well as the testing of complex web applications which involves creating and executing detailed test plans as well as documenting and tracking defects though the software development life cycle.

Requirements
